Idia’s Catering specializes in elite creole cuisine with an American twist! Sharon Alfred, owner and operator of Idia’s Catering is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She was raised in a family of great cooks! As a young girl, she watched both of her grandmothers prepare Cajun style cookery and sell hot plates to the community! In 2010, Sharon decided to take her passion to a professional level! She received her degree in Gourmet Cooking & Catering from Ashworth College. Not only is she degreed in this industry, she is also highly experienced in homemade cooking and entertaining for both intimate and large settings!

in events such as large baby & bridal showers, weddings, birthday extravaganzas, corporate luncheons and festivals! Idias Catering has worked with a wide range of organizations and businesses such as The Essence Festival, The Real Single Mom’s Club, Carrington at Park Lakes and a host of many more.

Because of this, we are able to impressively cultivate and maintain ongoing relationships with each one of them. When we are honored to service an event, it is not just another event. It is not just our client’s event. We notably take full representation of this being “our” event! Our clients are guaranteed with exceptional presentation, taste, outstanding and timely service!

 

Every event is structured with exquisite attention to detail in every area! We utilize a systematized approach for every event. All of our cuisine is freshly made on site! We will use a special catering tent so that the guest won’t be disturbed with the preparation, they will only be delighted with our culinary presence. We also implement the use of stations to apportion the food, utensils, and condiments.
